Seriously – more hassles with voting machines? Stop it, America. Stop it right now. The best voting machine? A printed ballot and a pencil. God.

But then they’d have to get people to count all the votes, and those people might count the votes wrongly! Probably safer to rely on those impartial voting machines. Sure, they might break down, and sure, they might break down often enough and in just the right areas to change the result of the election, but at least there won’t be any dishonest people to get in the way! That is, unless those people maintaining those machines have been corrupted! Hmmm.
(No, I don’t know what I’m really saying, either.)
I know, I know. How about getting everybody in one room, then: “Put your hand up if…”? Uh, yeah, okay.
That, I would like to see. The entire population of American voters standing in a room together! But then you’d still have potentially dishonest people counting all the hands they saw and reporting back on how many that was, so I just don’t think that’s going to be a reliable enough solution either. Sorry.
Yay. Thank god there has been a change. Let’s hope Obama holds onto his liberal ideology. The US won’t kno what has hit it.
